Mississippi PowerShell User Group April Meeting and Other PowerShell Happenings

Rohn and I were joined last night by Lido Paglia and TJ Turner of the Philadelphia PowerShell User Group during our unofficial weekly meeting of the Mississippi PowerShell User Group. I’ve found it’s very beneficial to collaborate with other  PowerShell User Groups.

One thing we discussed last night was the official April meeting of the Mississippi PowerShell User Group which will be held on Tuesday, April 9th at 8:30pm Central Time. Rohn Edwards (co-founder of MSPSUG) will be presenting this month. The title of his presentation is “Discovering PowerShell and the .NET Framework”. Register at EventBrite to receive the URL to attend this online (virtual) user group meeting.

We also talked about other happenings in the PowerShell community that are taking place this week, and there are a lot of them:

April 3rd (today)
The Arizona PowerShell User Group has their monthly meeting. This meeting is both physical and virtual. I’ve attended their meetings virtually before and they’re definitely worth your time.

The Indianapolis PowerShell User Group is having their monthly meeting. As far as I can tell, this is a physical meeting only (not available online), but if you’re in that area, you should check it out.

April 4th (Tomorrow)
The Philadelphia PowerShell User Group has their monthly meeting. It’s my understanding that this meeting is both physical and virtual.

The Charlotte PowerShell User Group has their monthly meeting as well.

Also, don’t forget about the PowerScripting Podcast which is every Thursday night.

This is certainly not an all inclusive list, just PowerShell happenings that we’ve heard about that are taking place this week.
