MSPSUG Meeting Tonight with Speaker Rohn Edwards, Co-Founder of MSPSUG and 2012 Scripting Games Winner

The April meeting of the Mississippi PowerShell User Group is tonight, Tuesday April 9th at 8:30pm Central Time (CDT). Rohn Edwards who is one of the Co-Founders of MSPSUG and the winner of the 2012 Scripting Games (Advanced Category) is the speaker tonight. The topic that Rohn will be presenting on is “Discovering PowerShell and the .NET Framework”.

SAPIEN Technologies, one of our sponsors, has provided several items that we will be giving away during this months meeting to include:

Windows PowerShell Video Training Set (by Don Jones)
Windows PowerShell 2.0 TFM eBook (written by Don Jones and Jeffery Hicks)
Managing Active Directory with Windows PowerShell 2nd Edition TFM eBook (written by Jeffery Hicks)
Managing VMWare Infrastructure with Windows PowerShell TFM eBook (written by Hal Rottenberg)

Rohn will be taking questions after his presentation tonight and this would be the perfect opportunity to ask him about his strategy during the 2012 Scripting Games. He won the advanced category and a trip to Microsoft Tech-Ed in Orlando, FL. This years scripting games are a few weeks away and why not get a leg up on the competition by talking to last years winners. Lido Paglia, one of the co-founders of the Philadelphia PowerShell User Group and winner of the 2012 Scripting Games (Beginner Category) is registered to attend our meeting tonight and he may be available for questions as well. Lido attended our meeting last month also.

What does it cost to attend? It doesn’t cost anything. Where do I sign up? Head on over to EventBrite and register for the meeting to receive the URL for this months online (virtual) meeting. If you don’t already have Microsoft Lync or the Lync attendee client installed, see our Attendee info page. We look forward to seeing you (virtually) at 8:30pm Central Time tonight!
