MSPSUG March 2019 Virtual Meeting: Intro to PowerShell’s Type System

For our March 2019 Mississippi PowerShell User Group virtual meeting, Rohn Edwards will be presenting “Intro to PowerShell’s Type System” on Tuesday, March 12th at 8:30pm central time.

Join Rohn Edwards as he introduces you to how PowerShell automatically adapts and extends objects by adding members and properties that wouldn’t be available without its special type system. After learning about what’s going on under the hood, he’ll demonstrate how to automatically add your own custom members to any object in PowerShell. This is targeted to an intermediate level audience, but the material will help beginners that like to understand what’s going on behind the scenes.

Rohn Edwards is a senior system administrator with over 10 years of IT experience. He’s a PowerShell enthusiast, co-founder of the Mississippi PowerShell User Group, and former winner of the Microsoft Scripting Games.

The Mississippi PowerShell User Group Meetings are typically held online (via Skype for Business) on the second Tuesday of each month at 8:30pm Central Time and are free to attend.

The system requirements to attend these online meetings can be found on the MSPSUG website under the “Attendee Info” section.
