Note: It is not necessary to live in Mississippi or join our user group to attend our meetings or present a session for our user group.
What are the requirements to attend these meetings?
We are currently using Teams for our meetings. We recommend that you have the Teams Client installed, which is available for free for Windows, as well as Android and iOS.
How do I join the meetings?
When you register for the event, you will receive an e-mail from Eventbrite that contains the meeting URL. Just click on that URL or copy and paste it into your browser to join the meeting. Provided that you have the Teams Client installed, it should launch automatically. If it doesn’t, click on ‘Launch the App’ or if you don’t have the client installed, click on ‘Join With Browser’ at the bottom of the page.
You will be added to the meeting and will be able to view and hear the meeting. When you first connect to the meeting, your video and microphone will both be muted by default.
Notice: Teams can be used to record meetings. By participating in our user group meetings, you agree that your communications may be monitored or recorded at any time during the meetings.
