Recently, during one of our test user group meetings that Rohn and I had, I was using an example of storing multiple server names into an array to then work with them. This is how I would normally accomplish this task, that is unless I pulled the names directly from Active Directory:
$servers = 'server1', 'server2', 'server3', 'server4', 'server5', 'server6'
Rohn showed me the way he has been accomplishing this sort of task which requires less typing:
$servers = 'server1,server2,server3,server4,server5,server6' -split ','

Rohn and I had a test meeting of the Mississippi PowerShell User Group last night which was a huge success as far as testing out the capabilities of using Microsoft Lync via Office 365. We used the voice over IP capabilities along with testing out sharing one another's screen. We also tested out having Rohn take over the controls on one of my test machines that I shared the desktop of. Rohn took that opportunity to school me on using enumeration in PowerShell. I attempted to start a user group a few years ago and found that there just wasn't enough interest in the local area and that the people who did have an interest in this state (Mississippi) were generally too far apart for it to be feasible to have physical meetings.
